We are a family of travelers.

 

We were all about vacation rentals before that was even a thing (also known as the pre-airbnb age). Sometimes we would arrive at a vacation rental and find great kitchen essentials - high quality cooking oil, authentic sea salt and tasty condiments. This was usually the case if the house owners used the home for themselves in between guest stays.

 

​And other times, we would arrive to find a completely empty kitchen. The trip to the local grocery store - especially in a remote beach town or on a tropical island - was a frustrating experience. Purchases of regular size essentials were costly and we knew they were going in the trash as soon as we were headed home. ​

 

As the years have passed, we have noticed more and more vacation rentals are run as true businesses and that kitchen essentials are not included in the rental. Travel Sauce aims to fill that gap. We want to make meal prep with your fellow travelers more fun, less costly and less wasteful.
